o Grant permission for use of their images
o Sit one-on-one with volunteer to decide which photos to share (3-4 max).
o Describe photos, stating why each is important to that person. Include specifics of names, dates, locations, story
o Maps and deeds ok to bring
o Bring all materials in their original format, not copies or scanned, unless that is the original.
o While event unfolds, photos being scanned are projected on a wall so all can see
o Owner of photos can themselves be photographed with their images.
o A team of archivists will be on site to teach people how to take care of their images.
o Local history groups are invited to set up tables so networking can occur. Likely number of attendees – 150-200. (Ptown had 100-150)
