University students often view college as a means to an end: earn a degree to get a job. But shouldn't it be more? The University of Iowa’s Life Design course, led by adjunct lecturer David L. Gould, examines how interests and talents can be paired up to achieve a fulfilling life. The course draws upon the work of well-known psychologists, motivational speakers, and sociologists. This program features a presentation by Chase Garrett, boogie woogie musician, and Tara Fall, author and educator. Presented by the Obermann Center for Advanced Studies.A complete list of available streaming videos can be found at citychannel4.com/video
